Vegan Smoked-Meat Sandwich

A plant-based take on a Montréal favorite — the famous smoked meat sandwich, made vegan with our smoked meat style tofu.

Ingredients

1 pack of EPIK Smoked Meat Style Tofu

2 sandwich buns or deli-style bread rolls

Yellow mustard (to taste)

Pickles, sliced

Butter or oil of choice (optional, for grilling)
Preparation
- The smoked meat style tofu can be enjoyed cold straight from the package, but for a warmer sandwich you can heat it in a skillet over medium heat for 3–5 minutes until lightly browned.
- Slice the sandwich buns in half and warm them slightly if desired.
- Spread mustard on both sides of the bread.
- Add the smoked tofu and top with sliced pickles.
- Close the sandwich and serve immediately.
