How do I store your products?

Refrigerated tofu 
Enjoy or freeze our refrigerated tofu before the expiration date indicated on the package.

Frozen products
Follow the expiration date shown on the package. Once thawed, cook and enjoy within 2-3 days. 

After opening

• Marinated tofu, Smoked tofu & Deli slices : Keep refrigerated in an airtight container and use within 3–5 days.

• Soy noodles & plain tofu: Store in the refrigerator for 3-5 days in water that's changed daily.

Can I freeze your fresh tofu products? 

Some of our products are sold frozen, while others are sold fresh but freeze very well. Here are instructions for enjoying after they've been frozen.

Already Frozen:

• Barbecue Pulled Porkless : Thaw for 10 minutes in a bowl of cold water before cooking 

• Buffalo Popcorn Tofu : Cook directly from frozen 

Sold fresh (but freeze well) :

• Sliced smoked deli tofu products : Smoked Meat Style Tofu, Rotisserie Style Tofu, Captain Style Smoked Tofu

• Smoked tofu blocks : Steak Spice Smoked Tofu, Original Smoked Tofu, Hot Smoked Tofu

• Marinated tofu products : Chipotle-Chili Tofu, Tofu Scramble, Chickenless Tofu 

• Soy noodles : Linguine Soy Noodles, Fettuccine Soy Noodles, Lasagna Soy Noodles

→ After thawing, cook well before enjoying.

→ Once cooked, they remain just as delicious

How do you smoke your smoked tofu products?

Our smoked tofu products are traditionally smoked using real maple wood for a pure, authentic, artisanal smoked flavour.

Are there any allergens in your products?

All of our products contain soy.

Most of our products are gluten-free. 

However, our frozen bites (Buffalo Tofu Bites and Barbecue Pulled Porkless) contain wheat. Allergens statements are clearly indicated on our product packaging and website descriptions to help you safely navigate any allergens or intolerances.

Are your products organic?

All of our smoked tofu products are made with organic soy :  Steak Spice Smoked Tofu, Original Smoked Tofu, Hot Smoked Tofu, Smoked Meat Style Tofu, Rotisserie Style Tofu, Captain Style Smoked Tofu

We focus on simple, local, and environmentally respectful ingredients. We are getting many of our other products certified organic soon. Stay tuned... 

Are your products Non-GMO?

Our soy noodles (Linguine Soy Noodles, Fettuccine Soy Noodles, Lasagna Soy Noodles),  and marinated tofu products (Chipotle-Chili Tofu, Tofu Scramble, Chickenless Tofu) use Quebec-grown non-GMO soy. Also, our marinade ingredients are GMO-free.

Our frozen bites (Buffalo Tofu Bites, Barbecue Pulled Porkless) are made with non-GMO soy.
